Who is the ARIC?
The Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC) is the leading competence center for artificial intelligence (AI) in northern Germany and the official AI initiative of the City of Hamburg. ARIC was founded in 2019 as a non-profit association with the aim of promoting the development, application and dissemination of AI technologies in the Hamburg metropolitan region and beyond. The City of Hamburg is a founding member of ARIC e.V. together with business and science.

As an idealistic, registered association, we are the official bridge between business, science and society and bring together companies, research institutions, start-ups and public institutions in order to jointly harness the potential of artificial intelligence in a human-centered and responsible manner (Responsible and Trustworthy AI).
Our interdisciplinary team of experts supports players from various industries in the integration of AI technologies, offers further training opportunities and promotes networking in national and international AI ecosystems.
As a central point of contact for innovative AI solutions, we are driving the digital transformation and actively shaping the future of artificial intelligence - responsibly, practically and sustainably.
