HQIC – Hamburg Quantum Innovation Capital

Über das Projekt

Die Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg fördert die Quantentechnologie-Entwicklungen mit Schwerpunkt Quantencomputing (QT/QC) in der Metropolregion. Mit der Initiative Hamburg Quantum Innovation Capital (hqic) ist ein zentraler, branchenübegreifender Ansprechpartner, Koordinator und Ecosystembuilder der Quantentechnologie-Aktivitäten ins Leben gerufen worden, der gemeinsam mit allen relevanten Stakeholdern das Quantentechnologie Ökosystem mit Schwerpunkt Quantencomputing in der Metropolregion weiterentwickelt.

Schwerpunkte

Hamburg Quantum Innovation Capital (HQIC) bündelt Kompetenzen, Ressourcen und Netzwerke im Bereich Quantentechnologien, um Hamburg zu einem führenden Standort für diese zukunftsweisende Schlüsseltechnologie zu entwickeln. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei die enge Verzahnung von Forschung, Wirtschaft und Politik, um Innovationen zu ermöglichen und den Transfer neuer Erkenntnisse in die Praxis zu beschleunigen. 

Ziel

Das Ziel von HQIC ist es, durch gezielte Förderung und Kooperationen ein dynamisches Ökosystem aufzubauen, das den Einsatz von Quantentechnologien in Industrie und Gesellschaft vorantreibt. So soll nicht nur die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Region gesteigert, sondern auch der Weg für bahnbrechende Anwendungen geebnet werden, die langfristig nachhaltige wirtschaftliche und wissenschaftliche Impulse setzen.
