Brown Bag Sessions

Gain AI knowledge at our brown bag sessions

The ARIC Remote Brown Bag Sessions, organized by the Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC) e.V., are regular virtual information events that take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 to 12:30 – perfect for learning interesting facts about AI (artificial intelligence) and quantum technologies (organized by hqic) during your lunch break.

These sessions are aimed at all interested parties – whether from companies, research, politics or administration. The aim is an interdisciplinary exchange on innovative topics in a relaxed setting.

You will receive the event link when you register for the respective sessions on Eventbrite. You can also follow our Eventbrite account.

Would you like to host a brown bag session on AI or quantum computing? If so, please feel free to contact us at brownbag@aric-hamburg.de.
We also welcome topic suggestions or recommendations for speakers via this email address.

Finding a champion is rarely the problem with AI projects, because there’s almost always someone on the team who uses the technology in their personal life and wants to use it at work. The rollout becomes difficult afterward, when the tool reaches experienced professionals whose reputation is built on doing the work themselves, and whose real objection is that this work could be automated at all. Drawing on two years of experience implementing an AI platform among medical writers in the pharmaceutical industry, this presentation highlights what these colleagues have achieved, what backfired, and what lessons can be applied to organizations where expertise and judgment are the actual product.

Pia Cuk, Co-founder & Managing Director of Pharos Labs. Pia Cuk is Managing Director and Head of Product at Pharos Labs in Hamburg. She leads product development for Regulaido, an agent-based AI platform for highly regulated medical writing in the pharmaceutical industry. Her focus is on building AI systems that can thrive in environments where every statement must be reliable.
