This workshop is aimed at experts from the supply chain and logistics environment who want to develop a better understanding of data-based optimization and business models. One focus is on understanding how AI and advanced analytics can support processes in a meaningful way. In addition, it will be made clear which steps are necessary to position yourself as a leader in the field of “data-driven supply chain management”.
The workshop takes into account the most diverse perspectives on the supply chain – from the shipper to the forwarder to the carrier.
The following topics will be covered during the workshop:
- Basic principles for the use of AI, machine learning and advanced analytics
- Bringing supply chain management and data strategy together
- Key use cases & best practices from different supply chain perspectives
- General learnings and requirements for data-based technology projects
- “Low-hanging fruits” – the ideal entry-level applications
At the end of the workshop, participants will have a clear overview of the technological possibilities for deriving added value from intelligent data processing for the supply chain. At the same time, all practical application examples will be placed in the context of meaningful development for the participants. In addition to technical aspects, this also includes organizational and project-specific aspects. Experience and best practices from the industry will be made available in a condensed form and comparatively simple initial steps for direct entry into this challenging but promising field of technology will be demonstrated.
