ARIC e.V. welcomes SimCog Technologies GmbH as a new member

ARIC e.V. welcomes another member. From now on SimCog Technologies is part of the broad ARIC network. This addition is further proof of the importance of ARIC e.V.’s networking activities. “We are very pleased to welcome SimCog Technologies GmbH as a new member. Recognizing individual patterns and flows while maintaining high quality standards is an immensely important topic both today and in the future and fits perfectly with the responsible deeptech claim of ARIC e.V.”, says Alois Krtil CEO of ARIC about the latest addition to the community.
Paul Prins Director Customer Solutions at SimCog, is also looking forward to even closer cooperation in the future. “Together with ARIC, we want to strengthen the AI offering in Hamburg. In our eyes, ARIC e.V. is the contact point for all those interested in AI in northern Germany. We will share successes from AI implementations in order to create further innovations together with the network.”
Since ARIC e.V. was founded in September 2019, the network has grown considerably and become an important point of contact for knowledge relating to artificial intelligence, cyber security and quantum technologies. Jan Schnedler, CLO ARIC e.V., is therefore also delighted about the new partnership with SimCog. “It is inspiring to see how innovative, customized solutions are created on the basis of AI and how significant economic added value is created from data. We are therefore delighted to welcome SimCog Technolgies to our ranks.”
About SimCog Technologies GmbH
SimCog Technologies GmbH specializes in creating company-specific machine-learning/KI solutions in Hamburg. The team of DESY and CERN graduates has been assisting companies since 2012 in identifying relevant use cases, creating solutions and operating them. SimCog also supports its customers in developing AI skills.
SimCog focuses on creating forecasting and simulation algorithms that enable companies to make better decisions. To do this, SimCog first enriches your internal data with external information. SimCog’s algorithms then recognize dynamic patterns in the data without hypotheses. The model derived from the patterns is able to generate precise forecasts and simulations on an ongoing basis.

The ARIC was founded in September 2019. The ARIC is a registered and is an interdisciplinary, application-oriented know-how center for AI in the Hamburg metropolitan region.
All facets of AI activities and developments are represented. To this end, important AI stakeholders from science and society as well as various economic sectors and company sizes in Hamburg are represented in the ARIC, contributing their expertise and various fields of activity in the area of AI.
An important focus of ARIC e.V.’s work is the responsible use of artificial intelligence. ARIC e.V. is also part of the EDIH excellence initiative.
