The Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC) and the Hamburg Logistics Initiative have concluded a cooperation agreement for future collaboration. As part of joint events and communication measures, the topics of artificial intelligence and quantum technology will be linked with logistics issues. The “Hamburg Quantum Innovation Capital (hqic)” initiative, which is based at ARIC, is also part of the cooperation.
The Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC) e.V. is the cross-thematic and cross-industry know-how center for artificial intelligence (AI) in the Hamburg metropolitan region. In addition, ARIC implements the quantum technology initiative “Hamburg Quantum Innovation Capital” initiated by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and represents the central and cross-industry coordinator and ecosystem builder of quantum technology activities in the metropolitan region. ARIC simplifies and coordinates access to the future topic of AI and quantum technologies (QT) and creates an overarching AI & QT offering and network. By involving and connecting business, science and society, expertise from different areas is brought together.
ARIC CEO Alois Krtil: “The close cooperation with the logistics cluster in the DeepTech areas of AI and quantum computing expands the ARIC ecosystem and brings the user and research sides even closer together.”
Carmen Schmidt, Managing Director of Logistik-Initiative Hamburg, adds: “The cooperation between ARIC and Logistik-Initiative Hamburg is an important step towards strengthening Hamburg’s innovation ecosystem and promoting digitalization and innovation in logistics.”
