The computational linguist and communication scientist is primarily dedicated to the topics of language, education and consulting at ARIC.
In addition to the further expansion of the ARIC network, Werner’s tasks include the application of language technologies (e.g. in the field of LawTec and content), the development of innovative teaching and learning concepts for AI and the study of the impact of AI on society and the economy.
Werner has over 15 years of experience in specialist and management positions at technology-oriented media companies, has founded and successfully managed a start-up and, as an experienced developer, has a good overview of the AI technology stack. His work as a developer and technology consultant has taken him from Silicon Valley to South Africa, India and Vietnam. In his home port of Hamburg, he will support SMEs at ARIC in the socially responsible introduction of new technologies as part of the AI network Regional Future Centers.
