Hardly any other product manufactured in Germany is as complex as the aircraft. Several million components from different suppliers are required for a single aircraft, whereby the highest demands are placed on the identification and documentation of components throughout the entire life cycle in order to guarantee complete traceability and quality control.
Aim of the project
The aim of the joint project “Intelligent Aviation Identification Technologies for the Supply Chain” (ILIdenT) is to develop and test identification technologies that meet these high technical and legal requirements. In addition to partners such as Synergeticon, Lufthansa Technik and the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, the ARIC has developed evaluation standards in the sense of Responsible AI in the project and accompanied a data protection review of the use cases under consideration for the recognition of various types of bushings and tubes by the law firm Fieldfisher. More information and the entire consortium can be found at: https://ilident.hamburg/.
