Captivating tasks and a great atmosphere: Caro Memah reported from the hackathon for womenwhich we carried out in April 2024.
On Saturday, April 6, 2024, the time had come: the WAGMI Hackathon was just around the corner. We gathered at
Starting with spring-like HTML design, through practical experimentation in both the Robotics and Internet of Thinks tracks, to an introduction to generative AI. There was something interesting and new for every participant at the WAGMI Hackathon.
We spent six hours programming, coding and trying things out. If someone had told us at the beginning what we would learn and create in the next few hours, I wouldn’t have thought it possible. We were all so enthusiastic and captivated by our tasks that the organization team practically had to force us to take a lunch break. After a culinary break, we continued.
The results of the day:
- A construction that independently monitors and supplies water to our beloved houseplants while we are on vacation
- A delivery robot that supplies you with coffee, even if it doesn’t have a clear path
- A digital greeting card in a colorful design that sends personalized greetings
- And on top of that, lots of input on the topic of generative AI
An all-round successful day that cries out to be repeated! We were particularly pleased with the feedback that many participants felt completely at ease.
We would like to thank our cooperation partners and sponsors:
