If we take a closer look at the “AI” black box, we see a fascinating toolbox with countless opportunities for product and service innovations. So how can you recognize these opportunities in your own company without being an AI expert or data scientist? The workshop will provide simple and practical tools to help you find your own ideas and conceptualize your requirements, even as a “layperson”.
These are the topics:
- AI use cases in practice: brief overview of potential and feasibility
- Develop your own relevant ideas: Using data as a driver of innovation (with joint exercise)
- Concretize your own concepts: A solution template from practice for your own AI project (with joint exercise).
The ARIC workshop is aimed at interested non-technicians from companies who want to be able to independently find plausible ideas for AI applications from their business perspective, record them as a project outline and assess their feasibility and plausibility. We work with purely conceptual methods, no prior knowledge required.
The ARIC workshop takes place as a distance event with max. 20 participants The exercises are done in small groups.

The lecturer Ulrich Erdmann is Head of Digital Concept at Grabarz & Partner and the innovation agency Grabarz JMP with a focus on innovative user experience as well as product and service design. He is a certified AI manager (DFKI / Bitkom), a lecturer at HTW Berlin and a speaker on AI concepts and methods at conferences and workshops (Solutions:Hamburg, World Usability Day, Hamburg@work).
