Artificial intelligence is regarded as the key technology of the future. But what can it contribute when it comes to one of our most important and at the same time most endangered goods, water? And what do we need to look out for in order to combine technological innovation with ecological responsibility?

In this presentation, we will take a look at the interface between AI, water and the climate crisis. Using concrete examples from research
and practice, we will shed light on different perspectives:

* How can AI help to detect floods, droughts and water pollution at an early stage?
* Can smart technologies contribute to more efficient use and conservation of water?
* And what risks does AI itself pose for the environment and water?

We look forward to reflecting and discussing both the potential and the challenges of AI in the context of the ecological transformation with you in the beautiful ambience of the Speicherstadt.
