On January 29, 2020, the Digital Hub Logistic and the Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC) signed a cooperation agreement and agreed to work closely together in the future.
The co-initiator of ARIC Alois Krtil and the managing director of DigiHub Johannes Berg have big plans:
“The collaboration will encompass far more than hosting joint events. The ARIC will set up a satellite location in the Digital Hub Logistics and a strategy and measures for the further development of the metropolitan region as a logistics and AI hotspot will be developed together with partners. “
“With ARIC, the Hamburg innovation ecosystem has added an important and professional component! As the Digital Hub Logistics we preach to our partners and startups again and again about the importance of cooperation! Logistics alone will not find answers to many questions – especially in the area of AI! Therefore we are pleased that from now on we are together on the way to solutions and innovations here in Hamburg! “
Both initiatives aim for a long-term and sustainable partnership. Joint projects, further training measures and information formats are on the agenda.
The two players also want to work together internationally and jointly connect various innovation locations abroad to the Hamburg ecosystem. The first joint trip is planned to Tallinn, Estonia at the end of May. Canada and Israel are to follow.
The two initiatives complement each other perfectly, so that the respective members benefit from the cooperation.
The Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg is the cross-topic and cross-sector know-how center for AI in the metropolitan region. ARIC simplifies and coordinates access to the future topic of AI, initiates and accompanies projects and provides a comprehensive AI network. By including and connecting business, science and society, the expertise from the different worlds is brought together and bundled.
