The topic of artificial intelligence is no longer seen as a technology of the future, but has long since arrived in the everyday life of many companies, as well as in everyday private life.
Although artificial intelligence is used as a cross-sector and cross-thematic technology, AI is often associated with the same industries, such as finance, logistics and the health sector.
Often forgotten, or at least neglected, is an important branch of the German economy: engineering. Medium-sized companies in particular, the backbone of the economy, are largely characterised by engineering work.
The use of AI in value-adding processes therefore also has an impact on the competitive advantage of German engineering, which enjoys a high reputation worldwide. This also gives rise to an economic significance for the consideration of AI application possibilities in engineering.
The Artificial Intelligence Enter Hamburg (ARIC) e.V. together with our partners from the CAE-Forum (https://cae-forum.com/de/) and the Virtual Dimension Center in Fellbach(https://www.vdc-fellbach.de/) will organize the conference “AI in Engineering”, where we will present use cases and possible applications of artificial intelligence in engineering.
In their exciting presentations and keynotes, our partners from science and industry in the engineering and AI sectors will show where and how the two worlds can complement each other well. The focus of the event is on the use of AI as a supporting element in the daily work of engineers. The event is therefore aimed at all interested engineers from a wide range of fields who want to find out about possible applications of artificial intelligence in engineering for process support.
The event is free of charge and will be held online and in English on 02/12/2020 from 14:00 to 18:00. You can register at https://pike-engineering.activehosted.com/f/25. Additional information on the event can be found on the homepage https://www.ai-engineering.technology/.
