Everyone is talking about Artificial Intelligence (AI), but hardly anyone has a clear idea of what it is about. It is high time for the metropolitan region of Hamburg to take a fresh look at AI in order to approach the application of AI productively.
In the future, the Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC) eV, as a cross-sector and cross-topic contact for all activities in the field of artificial intelligence, will work with you to promote the topic of AI in the Hamburg metropolitan region in a sustainable and targeted manner and further increase the attractiveness of the location. Various stakeholders from business, science and society have already committed themselves to this and assured their support.
After our office warming in December, we are now looking forward to the official opening ceremony on February 11, 2020 from 6 p.m. in Dockland (6th floor, Van-der-Smissen-Straße 9, 22767 Hamburg).
After an opening speech by Senator Michael Westhagemann, President of the Hamburg Authority for Economics, Transport and Innovation, and Wolfgang Overkamp, Board Member of the Hamburg Investment and Development Bank, the ARIC will introduce itself in its premises in Dockland and present the first AI projects it has initiated.
On this occasion, we would like to celebrate the official starting shot for a productive, interdisciplinary and fruitful collaboration in the field of artificial intelligence and discuss our visions as well as future activities and project ideas in a casual get-together.
